Idea
110 years of Whirlpool is a milestone that needs more than an
Instagram post to commemorate it’s spirit. The idea is to create a
memory. A memory that traverses through time and celebrates 100
years of "Everyday Care" in our lives. We bring alive a typographic unit
that goes across social media platforms and print.
Every letter of the word WHIRLPOOL depicts a unique story of a
product and it's emotion in our consumers life.
W
This is the story of celebrations around the
fridge. It’s the one door to mid night cravings,
stealing dessert, safeguarding freshness of
veggies and so much more. The letter will
represent this celebration of people and
moments.
H
This is the story of numerous adventures we
took because the washing machine was ready
to take on any challenge. From rainy evenings
to spills - it has seen it all.
I
This is the story of Air Conditioners. Here we
show people relaxed at home, having a great
family time (playing games) when it’s super hot
outside. We show a person using the AC
remote in the frame.
R
Within the letter ‘R’ we show a kitchen space
where pizza is being made and shared by
friends. We see a one person putting a pizza in
the OTG while a couple of other people are
grabbing a slice on the side.
L
We bring in the dishwasher for this letter. We
show the story of first time chef’s who use a lot
of vessels but that’s okay because the
dishwasher is here to back your new
experiments and clean up ton of vessels used
in the process.
P
We show a couple engrossed in conversation
while they stand over a HOB to make some
tea/coffee. This is that candid moment from
the kitchen where they share unfiltered
conversations.

We show a family breakfast scene. We see
fresh toasts being made and juice being
prepared as the family gets ready for their day
ahead. We show the toaster and juicer in this
frame. It’s a classic breakfast catch up story.

another in their kids bag as they head for
school.
