The tale of two completely different experiences: that pretty much sums of our brief visit to Eastern Europe, specifically Poland, The Czech Republic, and Hungary back in 2017.

We began by visiting Poland and the concentration camps. Words will NEVER be able to do justice to experiencing this. Truly sobering. In fact, upon departure we drove hours to Prague and the entire way the car was dead silent. While I had extreme reservations of taking any photos at all, I felt that with the right emotion they could be somewhat powerful. Below are the few images I did capture:

Upon collecting ourselves, we got to experience Prague on Easter Weekend. It almost seemed fitting to be in such a beautiful place on an important holiday weekend for those with faith, particularly after having had such an emotional experience in Poland. From there, we headed to Budapest and found the city to be romantic, exuberant, and stunning. Not much else to say, hope you enjoy the (now quite old) photos I snapped.
