A subway passenger grappling with the death of a loved one finds herself making sense of loss with close observation of other passengers and the comforting realization that she is just a part of a greater story. Formulaic narrative is instead replaced by original songs and poetry that are centered at the heart of the story, unveiling intimate and lyrical vignettes of life.
