My 2021 Inktober illustrations are an experiment with necromancy trope as well as the exploration of the depth of one's biases in favor of people they care deeply about. The main character is a young magical being who have lost an important person and sets herself on a quest to resurrect them. But what cost would it take?
Main character is supposed to look naive and cheerful yet with an edgy twist. Therefore we get a young girl with plump cheeks and freckles in in combination with piercings and Dracula-like hairline.
