Northgate High School Cross Country Designs
I had the lovely opportunity to volunteer as an assistant track and cross country coach at Northgate High School from 2018 - 2021. In this time I occasionally designed shirts, hats, pamphlets and maps for them.

When Boston Marathon was cancelled in 2020, I ran my own marathon by running three x eight mile loops and ending in Arbolado Park in Walnut Creek. I had the best support group come out and cheer from a distance, and masked!

An almost 12 mile loop in Briones. I made this map as a gift for a friend (I did not give it this name) but after designing the map, running it, exploring the many ridges and steep uphills, I can definitely say it IS appropriately named :)
In 2019 during the first few months of Covid, the Cross Country Team couldn't run together and they were encouraged to join Strava or track their miles. For each 100 miles run, they would receive a shirt as an award! This was the design for 2020!
The Watermelon Runner was designed as a mascot for the NGXC team in 2019. So for the Award hats, in 2021, we added a Mango Runner! See the next picture for the applied version on a white hat.
