Women Employed Brand Identity

Women Employed Logo and Brand Identity

In 2018, Women Employed, a nonprofit advocacy organization focused on equitable legislation for working women, approached Ogilvy as a pro bono client in need of a rebrand. The organization needed a new logo and identity that modernized their brand presence for a younger audience while honoring their 45-year long history as an authority among women's advocacy groups.
The final logo featured a new WE monogram packed with meaning and continuing aspiration for the group. The brand system features a 1970's aesthetic inspired by their founding decade, as well illustrations I created showing women (and some men) raising their voices and taking action. The end result is a colorful, inviting, flexible brand identity with plenty of personality and a clear tone of voice.
