Fuerteventura.
One of the seven Canary Islands and by many not considered to be the prettiest, for me it has become a place that feels familiar and beautiful on its own way. I really enjoy the unobstructed nature and surf culture that make the island such a calm and relaxing place.
Desert-like, dry climate and almost no rain all year round is another key to happiness for me - finding all of this in Fuerteventura is why it has become the perfect place to escape the German winter and my personal Isla Bonita.
