The flower grater I made is inspired on a painting by Yuri Kuper named Grater with Flower. The object you see on the pictures is a completely functional vase. You can put flowers through the grater-holes and guide them into the narrow gap. The place you put the stems in is completely sealed which means you can fill it up with water to keep your flowers pretty and fresh. Currently the grater is occupied with wire-flowers which can be placed there if you don't have flowers, or if the previous ones have wilted.
I made an architectural swatch book based on the atelier of Yuri Kuper. The designs have been carved into the acrylic sheet using a laser cutter. The material is see through so you can hold the different designs in front of part of your house. The designs consist of staircase railings, wooden ceiling-structures and wall decorations.
