In 2021 I attended a Master in 2D Animation at Rainbow Academy, during which I learnt how to use the Toon Boom Programmes, Storyboard Pro and Harmony 20. This is my final work for this Master. My assignment was to realize the storyboard and later the animatic of the classic tale of Hansel and Gretel in a Dramatic key. I decided to mix emotion-focused scenes to horror cuts, especially in the encounter with the Witch's House and at the end of the short animatic. After the realization of the animatic, we were assigned 15 seconds of animations taken from our animatic to animate by hand.

I decided to give more emphasis to the emotional state of the parents in the second animated scene, using body language and atmosphere.
