For this project we were asked to pick out two plastic eggs out of a bucket that had random letters in them and from those letters we were challenged with coming up with a company name for either a restaurant, a hotel, a services shop like a nail salon or a tattoo parlor, or a clothing brand. I pulled the letters Y and R and I was designing for a hair salon so after some brainstorming I came up with the name "Youthful Rose Boutique" because of this name I decided a color palette of mostly red and pink tones was best. After deciding these things I started on some thumbnails, this was the final logo and some mockups of what they would look like in use.

I did my thumbnails and then went to illustrator and finalized my favorite thumbnails into these digital roughs. After I played around with some color combinations and layouts but ended up with these options but I liked the more modern looking one in the above examples.
