Week 7 - Local Legend
This project required you to create your own interpretation of the 'Jersey Devil'. The final piece contained a back ground and the jersey devil character. The character's signature horse head, goat body, wings, cloven hoofs and tail was included in the design. The first layer was the background which consisted of a dark night sky and a glowing full moon. A large rectangle served as the sky portion of the background and circles of varying sizes and transparency was the moon. This layer was locked and the other layer contained the outline of the jersey devil which was made using the pen tool. The final layer was the fill which was made using the blob brush and also some detail was added using the pencil tool.
