With this project I was asked to come up with ideas that I could draw and develop with the end result being a Japanese notan.

I highlighted the four topics that I would like to do and then I created two ideas for each topic. I gained ideas and inspiration from other drawings I've seen. I also wanted to do different styles for each drawings, so I could cover all fields of thought.

I ended on my idea of a fish because it was easy and the gestalt would also enhance the Notan.
