Typography Gift Booklet

Typography Gift Booklet
As a project for my typography class, I was tasked with choosing a talk from the most recent General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was to use this talk to create a booklet as a gift for someone I know. I chose the talk I did because I thought it was a great talk and that my brother who I decided to gift the booklet to would like it.

Below you will see the full booklet on display. The font I used was Neue Haas Grotesk Display Pro. The font styles used were, roman, Italic, bold, and medium.
The front cover of the booklet including the name of the speaker and talk.
The inner cover and first page which includes an image of the speaker and caption including his name and title.
The second and third pages which have designs inspired by the content of the talk.
The fourth and fifth pages have similar designs but also invite variety into the booklet.
More variety is brought into the booklet with pages six and seven. In spite of the variety, the same colors and design are used throughout the booklet giving it a cohesive feel.
On the eight and last page there is a section for the reader to take notes.
Lastly, the back cover of the booklet includes an excerpt from the talk.
Thank you for your time. I hope you enjoyed viewing the mockup of my gift booklet.
