Parallax is a  weekly tabloid newspaper that informs of  and discusses the scenario of cinema that stray away from the conventions of popular mainstream cinema across continents. It features stories of independent films and gives their makers an international platform to voice their ideas. The weekly, besides various various film festivals aims to progressively blur the lines between parallel and mainstream cinema. It also tries to bring in light ideological, stylistic and experimental progress in the field from every corner of the world.
Why 'Parallax' ? (Read: /ˈparəlaks/, Noun)
Parallax literally is the effect whereby the position or direction of an object appears to differ when viewed from different positions, e.g. through the viewfinder and the lens of a camera. And the weekly justifies its title, by bringing across different perspectives as seen through the lens of various film makers.
