The Night - Sequential Narratives
For my 4th semester Design Project on sequential narratives I chose to work on a graphic novel. This story is relatable to anyone who has ever worked with a fixed deadline. 'The Night' is a story about a young boy, Kabir, who remembers he needs to submit an essay by the next morning and has only a few hours to complete it. It shows how procrastination is one of the major reasons for the delay in any activity that needs to be done in a certain amount of time. Through the story you'll come across the different challenges and emotions which Kabir goes through to complete his work.
The project started with process of creating a simple storyline which got converted into a script and then finally the character design.
After lots of sketching and thinking, finally Kabir's looks were decided- a relaxed and carefree boy.
The cover consists of the different elements which are seen throughout the story.
