Reaching consumers in their physical mailbox is making a comeback.
Below are the designs for Cobalt's newest series of onboarding letters:
Direct Mail: Skip A Payment Offer
The skip-a-payment campaigns happen two to three times annually and while credit union members can skip a loan payment at any time throughout the year (up to two times annually) the applications to skip skyrocket during the promotional period. Having the notion to test the efficacy of the mailed portion against other elements of the campaign, I suggested a staggered release of the campaign assets, direct mail being first. It turned out that the direct mail piece was indeed driving traffic, both online and in-store to apply for the skip.
Direct Mail: Postcards
Another marketing tactic that reached consumers via physical mail is the old standby - the postcard.
