RFID Excel Inventory Scanner
I am the Outdoor Recreation Director at my school. I made this project to solve the issue of having to manually log gear rentals into excel.
The scanner reads RFID tags and takes relevant information from the tags and logs it into Microsoft Excel. It uses an Arduino Uno, RFID mfrc522 scanner, piezo buzzer, and LED. The housing was designed in Fusion 360 and 3D printed.
The Arduino logs information into Excel by communicating with PLX-DAQ software through the Serial Port. Information on PLX-DAQ here
