densepen was a project dedicated to my ongoing drawing habits and developmens. In essence, it was just a name and a profile icon to use on an alt Instagram account, to separate it and see how it grows on its own.
...Optimistically though, I was envisioning it having its own statement and identity, recognizable voice and style, getting following independent from my other creative output.
Roughly 2 years later I quit Instagram completely and my drawing habits diminished as I was recofusing on MA thesis film and other creative outlets. I still draw, but these are the works of the most focused period.
All drawn on sketchbook pages (~A5) with various ballpoint pens, fineliner pens and pencils.
Some are manipulated digitally for colors and stylistic effect.

Sometimes I would experiment with manual digital coloring (as opposed to colors achieved through digital manipulation).
