In the far north of the European continent, Finnish Lapland and Northern Norway, discovering this land so varied and sometimes harsh, hardly shaped by the forces of nature but which is able to give us breathtaking views and unique events such as the sun of midnight and the Northern Lights.

Lapland is one of the last true paradises in Europe. An uncontaminated land, still linked today to its ancient history, in which nature is the absolute protagonist, in which man is a friend and not an enemy, and an integral part of that nature. For a traveler, Lapland is a truly irresistible place and always full of ideas. Lapland is in fact a great transformer. It dresses summer and winter with great ease, transforms itself completely with the passing of the months, and leaves you blown away every time you go there. Above the Arctic Circle, Winter and Summer alternate with great punctuality, exactly as happens in every part of the world. The laws of the cosmos are inexorable even in Lapland. But up there, what makes an impression is the ease with which everything is upset and changed. It seems incredible to think, how the same land can give life to such different landscapes, to such changing sensations. The seasons are like a competition, for who is the most beautiful, but obviously there is no winner and one loser, it would make no sense to make rankings of this type. Simply the Lapland of the Winter is not the same place as the Lapland of the Summer. One would instinctively say that the most representative season is Winter, if only because when we think of Lapland in general, we are reminded of the cold, the trees covered with snow, dog sledges, reindeer and maybe Santa Claus. But winter is as fascinating as it is hard, cruel and difficult. Everything is wrapped for months by a long dark shadow, the sun no longer rises, the ice covers and traps everything, and the cold tries in every way to keep you immobile and helpless. And it is during the winter that we can witness one of the greatest spectacles of nature: the Northern Lights, when the particles of the solar wind come into contact with the upper layers of the earth's atmosphere they create these bands of colored light that dance in the dark. of the night, creating a spectacle to leave you speechless.

Norway, the ideal destination for those who in the idea of a geographical north see something deeper and vast, vast landscapes of dramatic impact, silence and vastness and then the arctic light that brushes the colors of silence rustling discreetly but adamantly from the soul - an almost incomprehensible light that you find yourself admiring by observing the photographs you take as a souvenir back home. The Lofoten are seven islands that form the archipelago lying on the Norwegian Sea well 300 km inside the Arctic circle. Here the spectacular primeval landscapes are the daily life of a discreet but widespread human presence (24 thousand inhabitants over 140 kilometers of extension) which for at least nine thousand years has transformed these mountainous lands of the sea into places of life and not only thanks to fishing but also for agriculture in the Leknes area, one of the most fertile in Norway. The Lofoten go well beyond the idea of "tourist attraction": they are one of the rare possibilities now accessible by everyone to recalibrate the idea of our relationship with the Earth, of our presence: here too there are geographical coordinates, but the islands are like great vessels of primordial time able to take us wherever our imagination is capable of daring a destination to be kept forever, especially when, from the end of April, the light pervades the twenty-four hours and offers more opportunities to enjoy the peaks in your own moment snowy, sudden changes of scenery, remote corners where unthinkable Caribbean beaches are bathed by emerald waters at the foot of imposing rocky massifs, admired by the tranquility of the inhabitants of this place that we must imagine aware of so much beauty. The famous phenomenon of the "midnight sun" always leaves you speechless, and offers breathtaking natural spectacles, because the landscapes are colored with unusual lights and shades, to be immortalized with memorable photographic shots.
