Recreation of a Historical Illustration
In this project, I was asked to identify a historical illustration (botanical or animal) that is 100+ years in age from the Biodiversity Heritage Library open access digital archive dedicated to life on Earth. I created a digital variation of the illustration using Adobe Illustrator vector tools and explored a combination of color, value, pattern, and stroke to create a realistic rendition of the historical illustration.
