Remington Typewriter Exhibition

Remington Typewriter Exhibition
Through the investigation and research of nostalgic objects, the propaganda design of the nostalgic objects is carried out so that more people can pick their memories.

More and more people like to collect nostalgic objects. Guitars, phonographs and even last century's Porsche 911. But people seem to forget that typewriters exist.

Remington used to be very brilliant and designed a noiseless typewriter. But with the change of time, typewriters no longer exist in our lives. People are full of interest in collecting phonographs, retro guitars, and vintage cameras, but few people collect typewriters or even forget them. So I researched the history of Remington, through my design and exhibition, to remind the audience of our old friend-the typewriter.
Inspiration
This is a very interesting story. When I was studying in the library, the sound of the people next to me typing on the keyboard was so loud that it affected the people around me and couldn't concentrate. So I thought of the popular silent keyboard, and then I wondered whether the previous typewriters were also silent? In order to let people recall the memory of fighting themselves, and also to let people understand the silent typewriter, I decided to create this project.
Audience
1. Nostalgic objects collection group.
2. Museum visitors.
3. 15-40 young and middle-aged people who have no idea about typewriters.
In order to get the best picture quality, I bought a 1936 Remington Noiseless Typewriter from Facebook. I personally photographed all its angles.
Consider people browsing the exhibition's ads on social media and the mobile interface of the official website. I focused on the layout of the mobile terminal.
