This design aims to allow viewers to envision the bright future we have ahead of us, as well as helping us realise our leadership potential and the contributions of Cedarians before us. Grey is the dullest colour amongst the three school colours. I think that it should represent the struggles we are going through, like Covid-19. Despite being in tough times right now, our future will definitely be much brighter. The focal point is the light grey silhouette of a girl with one foot resting upon a rock, as she confidently looks ahead with a telescope. The telescope has a reflection of a shimmer of light. Blue and yellow rays of light emerge from where the girl stands. This girl represents the resilient Cedarians of today. We are looking toward a bright future. The shimmer of light is a reflection, it represents that we are going to reach our goals that we are not far from. Despite the challenges that may abound, we still look confidently ahead. This is what defines a Cedarian, we reach within with the strength of will and the knowledge to see us through. The grey silhouettes of the girls on the right represent both ex-Cedarians and current Cedarians. Ex-Cedarians are the people who shaped Cedar with excellence, dedication, relentless efforts and a vision in mind, to be where it is today. The silhouettes also represent the people who are being led by the Cedarian who is on a rock. She leads her peers and together, they craft their own trajectory. Lastly, the blue and yellow rays of light that emerge from where the Cedarian stands. It represents the potential a Cedarian has as well as her values of honesty, perseverance and courtesy, and her potential and values shine through her and impact those around her.
