I love photographing pregnant 'couples'. I don't think there is another time in anyone's life when the intimacy and love show through quite as much. There is an air of excitement, anticipation and dreams are waiting in the wings. To be a part of that is an honour to me.
I usually photograph the pregnancy session 3-4 weeks before the due date because babies have their own schedule and won't wait for anything :-) I try and include home and nursery photos and then take my clients somewhere special to them for some outdoor images.
My favourite session was a series of monthly photoshoots and each one was photographed in a special place to my clients with lots of memories for them to share.
The newborn session is usually in the first 10 days when the baby is still tiny and quite sleepy.
