The Anglo-Saxon term "wannabe" refers to a person who wants to appear to be someone else, imitate attitudes or even wish to be someone else. The term, a contraction of want to be, entered as popular language in the United States in the mid-1980s. The Spice Girls used the term "Wanna be" as a title for their first single, a song about feminism. 

That is why this project based on the Spice Girls it's called "Gonna be" ("I'm going to be") as the title of the clothing collection, since the "girl power" movement is no longer a desire, but a reality.
