Pride and Prejudice Covers

Pride and Prejudice Covers
In this project we were asked to make three different covers for a book. The three topics were Typography, Physical, and Creators Choice.
Creators Choice:
This cover is one of my favorites. I love the symbolism between the lack of visibility with the sunglasses and when you are prideful or prejudice. You cant always see things in full color when you wear sunglasses, just as you are often blinded by your own prejudices.
Typography:
I love the forget-me-nots, especially in regards with Elizabeth and Darcy's relationship. The meaning behind them is love and respect, and I love that this is a common theme that they are able do develop that love and respect for each other.
Physical Cover:
One of my favorite aspects of Pride and Prejudice is the letter that Darcy writes to share with Elizabeth his point of what has happened. This cover uses ripped pieces of paper, which represents the letters that are written. The letter is the turning point for Elizabeth in her respect for Darcy.
