Belief magazine

This project is a design for a lifestyle magazine which concentrates on various religions and cultures which enhance people’s well-being. “Belief” is the name of this magazine which communicates the satisfaction of the people of all cultures and religions around the world. This lifestyle magazine reflects on the diverse religions and cultures that promote people’s well-being.

The target audience for this article focuses on adults who are age 35+ and are curious about religion. To illustrate minimalism in this magazine, a thin San-serif typeface is chosen for the wordmark of this magazine and connects to the lines which are the same stroke with the typeface to create consistency for design.

Besides black and white in the colour palette, the primary colour yellow was carefully selected to illuminate the brightness of religion and it also compliments the dark background cover. The dark blue colour creates coldness which is tastefully coordinated with yellow in the layout.
