Adobe Live AR Interstellar Cocktail

Interstellar Cocktail for Adobe Live
We do not know why we are born into the world,
but we can try to find out what sort of world it is. Edwin Hubble
An augmented reality journey through the cosmic neighborhood beyond our solar system inspired by imagery from NASA and Hubble Space Telescope.
I've been creating cinemagraphs and incorporating motion into my photographic work for several years now, always looking for ways to create a more immersive expression of my work. For Adobe Live, I wanted to surprise the audience with an augmented reality experience that combined easy use of photography and light 3D work, all brought to life in the virtual space with Adobe Aero, an intuitive augmented reality tool in the Adobe suite.

The resulted artwork is an interstellar playful moment, where exoplanets, nebulae, and the sound from around the Milky Way accompany a cosmic cocktail. The vibe is definitely out of this world, but all imagery has been repurposed from the NASA archives and Hubble Space Telescope, in an effort to cherish and bring back to light the beauty of our galaxy.

My goal with this project has been to infuse the potential of AR with exploring more traditional art mediums, like photography and image-making in creating new creative worlds meant to be discovered.
