Today, in the digital age, and as our relationships become largely virtual, we are increasingly accustomed to interacting with images, with a pseudo-reality that replaces the lived experience and that transforms us over time and takes away our authenticity. It is another mask we are wearing every day. I captured my subjects, who are mostly actors in real life, with their eyes closed. It is in that moment and in that space when one can return to their true self and explore their emotions, their dreams and find their way home.
