Dunleer Sells Renovated Oxford Hollywood Apt Building

Dunleer, a private real estate development and investment firm, was founded by BJ Turner in 2014. Dunleer recently facilitated the renovation and sale of The Oxford Hollywood apartment building in Los Angeles, am equivalent per unit pricing of $410,000 or $575 per square foot.

Dunleer acquired the historical building, which was constructed in 1924, in 2016. The firm embarked on a complete gut renovation, adding stainless steel appliances, quartz countertops, new bathrooms, and in-unit washers and dryers. Dunleer upgraded all building systems, put on a new roof, and made landscaping and security improvements. Throughout the renovation, the firm worked to retain the building's charm and character. Although the sale was completed during the COVID-19 pandemic, it achieved near market record pricing on per unit and per foot metrics, which spoke to the demand for high quality and high character assets in well located submarkets like Hollywood. It was Dunleer’s seventh apartment disposition in 2020, the purchaser was a private investor based in California.
