Pommette: Mobile Beauty Studio

I had a client looking to create a new logo for her mobile beauty studio. She came to me with something called her "Mood Board" and so I was able to connect with her and better understand what kind of style and feel she was looking for. I came out with quite a few versions before we ended up going back to one of the firsts.
This was the very first design, using a MUCH preferred font(imo) and based around one of the logo designs she came to me with that she sketched out. I figured I'd start with the ones she came up with and include them in the mockups incase she wanted to go with her own personal look.

In the end that's exactly what happened.
This was the same as the first design but with a twist. One of the things she seemed to like what a "dripping effect" on many artworks. Since she would be working with nail polish, it was suitable. However, the message of this effect appears "messy". So it was not used.
Another attempt using the drip effect and another style that appeals to the client. The retro circular logo style was on her list.
Another part of the mood board led to this, and two other simillar mockups. There was examples of victorian pieces and artworks and so I put together these three(including the two below).

She likes apples, so in all three an apple aspect was used. This one includes the apple seed.

Each example also used a different main colour for testing.
This version includes the apple and the seed.
This version includes the apple blossom and seed.
Another use of the earlier apple blossom.
One of the things on the mood board was water colour pieces. Water colour isn't something I'm use to it vector form but I said I'd try.
A simplified combination of the ribbon and circular logo.
And one more combination of the circular and flower+ribbon logo.
While working with the circular logo mockups, the idea of making them appear more like nail polish came up.

Wanting things to be simple, they were kept 2d style.
This last group of mockups was an attempt at a more realistic "polish" drip, which is a thick and slow drop rather than thin and fine like the earlier logos.
