Abstract Letter & Glyph Compositions
For this project I created two compositions using only letters and glyphs. Each composition contains between five to eight different solid symbols, basic principles of designs, and are abstract. The first compositions was created using a sans serif font called Neue Haas Grotesque Bold, this font is think and bulky which is why I created a composition that has sharp angles. The second composition was created using a serif font called Stemple Garamond Roman, this font is thinner and elegant, I created the composition to be intricate and smooth movement
These two Letter and Glyph compositions were created as a project for my typography class. This project has helped me to learn more about these two fonts and how they can be used creatively for more than relying simply information through words.
