This work was based around re-creating the delictae and ornate look of Old World lace and transforming it into metal. I am attracted to to patterned surfaces and the way this can be acheived by the repetition of one single motif.
In this collection I used intricately patterned elements that were pierced, forged, sanded and polished to create sterling silver pieces with an antique yet bold feel.
