EMOTIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY
For one of my projects I had to create photographs based on the word Anger
The image should attempt to portray a visual message that I have developed from the
word, taking into consideration how deliver this message by the use of visual rhetoric.

Ihe viewer is presented with a moment of anger, with a notion of destruction that is about to happen. The shot is communicating rage through the expressions on the faces of the fruits and the threatening fist. They were shot close-up to make the elements stand out.
Image construction:
I took a shot of the subject in natural, direct light at home. I had to adjust the different elements a few times before getting the right balance of the composition and light exposure. Rule of thumb was of great help!
The imposing fist about to smash down on the angry fruit creates a sense of action in the scene suggesting violence and anger and making the viewer feel uncomfortable.
I used the spotlight effect to make the fruits stand out, I darkened the background and added an adjustment curves layer to make the composition vivid, then illuminated the subject to bring more drama to the fruits! This creates a visual effect, a play of light and shade that draws the attention of the viewer to the subject.
