Home+ App - Electrolux
To develop the Electrolux Home+ APP in Electrolux south america headquarters, a connected squad team was assembled with UX Designers and software development team working together in the innovation center applying the Scrum Method.

As Electrolux brand strategy evolves to a more life quality enhancing approach, the products must also evolve reflecting the company's new state. The Home+ app is about using technology to better control and customize the home appliances and improving the home living experience.
The App Experience
In a nutshell the app connects with your Electrolux products (e.g refrigerator, air conditioner) anytime, anywhere to better fit your activities and routines at home.
To improve efficiency, each UX designer focused in a part of the APP UI and did follow up alignment meetings every week. The part that I worked on was the Activities session, a personal calendar and activity list with connected with appliances automatizated features.
The challenge was to decide on a solution that capture the user needs and expectations on a brand new feature on the Brazilian market. For this we proposed several prototypes that was tested using the Guerrilla testing and Usability testing. Based on the results we were able to make a decision on a solution that incorporated proposed default routines (to adapt to the learning curve) and detailed settings (to adapt to user specific needs).
