Which empathy archetype are you?
Every person has a dominant way of expressing empathy. Your expression (or archetype) of empathy is a combination of your personality, your comfort level with emotions, and how you were taught to empathize with others. Understanding which empathy archetype you are can help you better connect and understand others. It can also help you communicate how you want to connect and be understood.
Archetypes give us permission to see the most compelling version of ourselves, and help us feel our place in the fabric of communities. Less thrilling is the task of naming your weakest spots, but most of us have some practice with this part nonetheless.
