Mad-Lib #1
Idea:
I wanted to create something completely surreal, something that no one would ever see in real life. I strived to depict elephants through means of transportation, thus them being on top of airplanes.
Materials:
For this project, I made multiple stickers out of images and developed them together to show synthesis of materials and prove my 2D design skills.
Process:
I used a multitude of different colors to create vibrancy and surreality. I also wanted to make the city skyline smaller in contrast to the elephants so I can emphasize the elephants as the main aspect of my piece.
Mad-Lib #2
Idea:
For my second piece, I wanted to create a space look with a ice skater on the rings of Saturn.
Materials:
For this project, I made multiple stickers out of images and developed them together to show synthesis of materials and prove my 2D design skills.
Process:
Originally, I loved the idea of an ice skater skating on something that resembles a rink. I began with the skater on a record player, but it didn't develop the way I wanted, so then I decided to switch my idea to a setting of space
Mad-Lib #3
Idea:
For my last piece, I wanted to depict squirrels on scooters in a park
Materials:
For this project, I made multiple stickers out of images and developed them together to show synthesis of materials and prove my 2D design skills.
Process:
In the beginning, I knew I wanted to use a park as the setting with an animal doing something a human does. I chose squirrels because they are animals very common in parks and outdoors and then I continued to put them on scooters, creating a visual personification.
