From a story or lyrics of our choice create a series of illustrations that could be turned into a book.
Concept
Choosing lyrics from the 1980 Dire Straits song, ‘Romeo and Juliet’, these images were created by illustrating the section of the song I chose the Lyrics wrapping around, or in some cases, over the imagery. The book is quite colourful due to the different paper stocks used on creating the imagery, as well as any effects added by Photoshop later. The style of book is called an ‘accordion book’ due to the nature of it’s folds, displaying all the images horizontally when pulled out.
