Redesign - Entomological boxes

Redesign - Entomological boxes

Client:

National Museum of Natural History of Chile (MNHN).

The assignment was part of a new exhibition that the MNHN was working on. I was asked to redesign the entomological boxes, that is, the exhibitors where the insects are displayed to the public.
To carry out this assignment I used a methodology that involves first the analysis and study of direct references, materiality and construction systems. After having this background I started to develop the proposal mainly through 3D modeling.

Project overview:
As a new exhibition was planned, the exhibition area needed the displays to be suitable for visitors to interact safely with the material on display. Therefore my task was to facilitate the assembly of the exhibition through a constructive system, assembly and anchoring of the entomological boxes.
