This is an example of a garment that is getting its full life used.  It has been worn and owned by multiple people going from one owner to the Goodwill bins to another owner (me) and then into what it is now, a scarf, that will continue to be worn.  

I bought this skirt from a Goodwill in Wisconsin years ago. One of the first times I wore it a woman dressed as a purple fairy (purple wig, purple dress, purple wings, the whole nine yards) approached me and told me that she had the matching jacket. I was surprised to find such an uncommon skirt had a matching jacket and that the owner had found me. I only wish she had been wearing it at the time.
