As a toy enthusiast and a Multimedia Arts student, It is my dream to develop my own art toys vinyl collection inspired by designer toys sold in toy conventions and hobby stores. This inspired me to create the Designer’s Buddies vinyl figure collection. The big idea aims to spark creativity and tribute to the creative industry by designing a vinyl figure collection. This paves the way to the creation of my Designer’s Buddies software characters that are commonly used in the creative industry such as Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In design, After Effects and Premiere pro. The vinyl figures are designed with their corresponding software logos and colors, not only for decorative purposes but also for multi-tasking uses-a stand up body that can be used as a paperweight; and a head that lights up the software logo. A Designer’s buddy not only on their computer desktop but also on the actual top of the designer’s desk.
