"Mouse and the Oyster"
Made in the fall of 2019, the Mouse and the Oyster was a series of 10-14 two tone linocut prints made as a possible Aesop's fable book cover for a workshop in traditional media styles. The fable in question follows the adventures of a greedy mouse, who ultimately meets his untimely demise in the shell of an oyster after foolishly attempting to devour it. The fable is meant to be a warning against the dangers of unchecked greed and foolishness.
