Unique character design and environmental illustration for a children's series proposal. This would reflect the animated version of the live action show.

The brief was to create an environment that looks as though the main characters were transported to a central New Zealand forest, with a mystical and moody look. The colour treatment requested was a misty greenery, the set needed to incorporate draped hessian curtains as the set background.  The two presenters need to appear like they were both the magician and the assistant, with the children taking turns acting as the magician.

Following the illustration, Pickled Possum Productions requested a layout design, to be used as the template for their 30 page proposal that elaborated on the details and interworking of the proposed children's show for TVNZ.
