Soul
a game design journey from concept to gameplay
Soul is an indie game by Zeynep Burcu Kâya Alpan and Ahmetcan Alpan -Raw Cocktails-
inspired by the movie of the same name, "Soul" by Pixar.

It was created during the Global Game Jam 2021 at BUG (Bahcesehir Game Lab).


This is a local cooperation game, designed to be played by two people from the same computer.
One of the players controls the body, while the other controls the soul.
Both have their own, different sights.
Body sees in perspective, like us, in varying saturation depending on it's seperation from the soul.
While the soul only sees from the bird's eye view, twitching constantly.
They try to connect once again in this land of primitive shapes and forms.
