Difficult Loves.

The collection is about gracefully unearthing the most complicated emotion buried up inside people, that is “Love”, it takes inspiration from love that is difficult to embrace in the world driven by convections and morals. It focuses on love and the difficulty of communication in these modern times, it is a chaos created by love.

It throws light on withdrawal of love and gaining power after going through the process of difficulty that is the darker side of love that attracts the feeling of love being taken away from you, fear and anxiety of losing something you love. There are two basic motivating forces: fear and love. When we are afraid, we pull back from life.When we are in love, we open to all that life has to offer with passion, excitement and acceptance.It is love that is decaying but still remains forever.

This collection stemmed from that feeling of connecting art and design together while having an emotional connection with women who feel the same way. The collection contains a combination of prints, embroidery and manipulation’s which also aims in promoting and connecting with artisans making wearable artistic garments.

My collection emphasises the contradiction of being exuberant while showing elegance and refinement in character, it embraces rawness and imperfect while reciting a story with deep feelings and conveying them through beautiful, powerful garments for women.
