An Ocean of Consciousness
Feminine consciousness is the art of a gentle presence. In today's world when there is a need of transformation of beliefs, values, systems, both internally and externally, it is important to allow feminine side of the psyche to manifest, through empathy and care and ultimately allow us to reconnect with ourselves, our families and mother earth.
My painting is titled, 'An Ocean of Consciousness' which depicts feminine consciousness flowing through the oceans, which represents the earth. Feminine consciousness is not restricted to the traditional constructs of femininity. It is something that a person of any gender experiences in their lives.
I tried to express my idea of feminine consciousness through my art work by showing vivid colors blending together and spreading into the ocean to touch the heart of everything it touches.
