External prosthesis project
It was a short project in which my task was to make an external prosthesis for an intraosseous prosthesis for a dog.
The developed design allows making the prosthesis lightweight and assisting in movement. The simplicity of design also allows for easy disassembly, removal and donning of the prosthesis. The concept assumes further development related to the ergonomics of attaching the external prosthesis to the leg. Further, a comfortable, ventilated attachment can be designed with the ability to adjust the fit, as well as to follow the shape of the leg.
The external prosthesis consists of polycaprolactone. An internal prosthesis is located inside it.
