During the initial concept process, I made some additional recommendations of using infographics and other visual representations to enhance the presentation while aiding comprehension because the statistics were presented only as text but I felt a visual representation of the figures would not only aid understanding, but enhance the design of the document.
When people talk about design there is such an obsession with just logos. It's not a bad thing; I understand the hype. But for me, I love the potent potential of a blank space, a blank sheet and a heap of text and assorted components - the idea of knitting them together to create a report or document is something that brings me great joy, second only to the joy others get from it. The icing on the cake for me is nailing my two primary goals with every project I take on, something I call: aesthetic functionality. I really enjoy design for layout and this project is one of my favourites.
