Layer By Layer
For this project we were given the task to use traditional printing techniques. After trying out the different methods I chose to create a book using the etching process. The book is about the life cycle of a tree which is strictly told through the use of my own hand drawn illustrations. The cover design is produced using a laser cutter to etch and create a bark effect, I have also hand bound this book using the 'stab stitch' technique.
