Besides being a very successful news channel, Volleyverse is a mission-driven company with an ambition to make volleyball the number one women's sport in the world by supporting the global volleyball family through player and fan services. Dan Grey, VV’s founder, invited us to create a fresh and engaging brand that inspires loyalty amongst its young and global audience as Volleyball transitions from news source to e-commerce platform.

For this concept, we wanted to convey the idea of uniting a global family through volleyball. Whilst the globe represents volleyball as a passion beyond borders, we realigned the data collected from a study that presents a kinematic analysis of volleyball athlete's movements and speed during attacks with various types of take-off to inject the nature of the sport in Volleyverse’s visual identity. We have combined these concepts on a 3D sphere creating a dynamic identity system.
