In this project, I am require to create a poster according to an image style guide given.

REQUIREMENT :

- Follow given image style guide

- Include 3 images of the environment or foods 

- Do not use image that attached in the image style guide

- Add texture

As you can see in the image style guide (Fig 1.0), the cafe is based on a Disney character 
"Buzz Lightyear". In the guideline, purple and dark blue is the main background colour to represent the Milky Way. The typeface of the style guide is some how gives the futuristic and sci-fi feels. 

The yellow colour text and green colour elements are to make the content stand out from the background and the colours could also represent Buzz Lightyear himself as we can find the colours on his model. The Image used in the style guide is focusing on purple and pink neon light to showcase the retro-futuristic feels that were mentioned in the style guide. The food images are mainly cafe's food as mentioned. 

Before I start the poster, I did a key visual  for the cafe itself. In the Key Visual, I illustrated an astronaut and spaceship to represent the "Cosmic" theme of the cafe. And the astronaut holding a coffee cup is to bring out the message of "cafe" to the audience. The Purple colour here is a colour that follows the style guide which also represent the colour of Milky Way. The Neon effect in the key visual is to represent the retro-futuristic concept which stated in the image style guide.

In the final piece, I removed the key visual as requested and replace few images and around the images I added a neon light effect that bring out more "retro-futuristic" of the cafe. 

For the headline, I added the motto of the Buzz lightyear as the cafe is based on the character. 

For the content, I added 2 neon sticks around to make them stand out even more. 

At last, I added some stars texture to bring out the Milky Way feeling.
